Anita K. Boyle is a freelance graphic designer, illustrator, editor, publisher and poet in Bellingham, Washington. She is always busy in her studio working up a new approach to a project, or beginning a new painting, refining a poem, or organizing an assemblage.
Boyle spent over twenty years on five acres off Noon Road with a pond and a small woods. The pond in the middle of her land is a tenacious source of inspiration—in the spring, the sound of the courting frogs is deafening; in summer, water lilies bridge the surface; during autumn a quiet descends on the dark mirror; and throughout the winter, all life submerges and considers change. These important occurances are naturally documented in Boyle's poems.
